Description

Beze Cave is a multilayered Palaeolithic sites with deposits stretching from Lower to Upper Palaeolithic. The site was excavated in the 1960s by Dorothy Garrod & Diana Kirkbride. The lithic material was published by Lorraine Copeland (Roe 1983). In 2011 Dirk Leder re-studied lithic material curated in the National Museum of Beirut. Some preliminary reults were laid out in his PhD thesis (ISBN: 978-3-7749-3919-6).
