Last week, Christian Willmes attended the FOSS4G 2016 Conference in Bonn. He gave at talk about the PaleoMaps project, that was recorded.
Recently we published a new PaleoMaps dataset:

And we are working on more datasets to come. We are also always keen about suggestions for new dataset that we should compile for you. To make it easier for you, to let us know about your data wishes, we created a web form where you can simply enter information about datasets, that you want to have in GIS format for your research endeavors.
